XATRIX Collaborations

A record of our collaboration in diamonds, technology and world-class performance

In April 2026, XATRIX stepped onto the global stage. During his historic performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, Korean artist LEE Taemin wore custom diamond in-ear monitors created for him by XATRIX.

The performance marked the moment Taemin became the first male K-pop solo artist to present a solo set at Coachella. It also represented a defining step in the international journey of XATRIX and reflected our long-term commitment to creating luxury intelligent wearables.

Designed for performance and identity

XATRIX is building a new generation of luxury wearables by combining lab-grown diamonds with advanced technology. Our approach is based on three principles: jewellery-grade craftsmanship, fully customised design and a deep understanding of how each product will actually be used by its wearer.

When the wearer is a world-class performing artist, the product must serve two roles at once. It must operate as a professional tool on stage while also becoming an extension of the artist’s personal identity. This principle formed the foundation of our collaboration with Taemin.

An artist with global influence

Taemin debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee and launched his solo career in 2014. Across the K-pop industry, he is widely recognised as the “Idol’s Idol” because of his influence on younger generations of performers.

In 2026, he became the first male K-pop solo artist to perform a solo set at Coachella and the first K-pop solo artist to receive a dedicated exhibition at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. His influence spans several generations of K-pop, supported by a global fanbase across Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America.

His decision to wear XATRIX during one of the most visible performances of his career provided powerful recognition of both the product and the brand’s direction in the luxury smart-wearables category.

The global stage

Coachella is one of the world’s most culturally influential music festivals. It has grown far beyond its identity as a music event, becoming a global meeting point for entertainment, fashion, technology and contemporary culture.

For XATRIX, this was the right stage on which to introduce our philosophy to an international audience: advanced technology expressed through objects that feel personal, distinctive and worthy of being worn.

Created for the Coachella stage

For a 50-minute high-intensity performance, the custom in-ear monitors needed to meet three demanding standards at once: reproduce sound accurately at high stage volume, remain secure throughout intense choreography and movement, and integrate naturally into the artist’s overall visual identity.

Lab-grown diamonds became the visual centre of the design. They share the same chemical, physical and optical properties as mined diamonds while allowing greater control over the final design and supporting the XATRIX philosophy of bringing technology and aesthetics together.

From rehearsals through to the final performance, the custom device accompanied Taemin throughout the complete Coachella experience.

The beginning of a wider story

This collaboration marks the beginning of XATRIX’s work with global artists, not its conclusion. We will continue to develop exclusive customised wearables that combine lab-grown diamonds, intelligent technology and designs created around the individual wearer.

Our first consumer product, the XATRIX Stellar Ring, will launch globally on Indiegogo, bringing the same philosophy into an intelligent object designed for everyday wear.

One artist. One stage. One device.
The next story is already in motion.
